Naniwa Hibiki stones are super-efficient! They have a good balance between being hard, but still not too hard so you get some response from the stone while sharpening. You will see steel being removed straight away, and the result is super fine! Highly recommended.
#8.000 grit is a finishing stone for you that want that extra polish. The blade will also turn mirror with this stone.
